Doug Felton, Pastor The first thing you need to know about me is what you see in the picture; I am married to a wonderful woman named Linda and I am the father of two children, Ryan and Haley. God has blessed me with a wonderful family that supports and encourages me. They are my first priority. After that I am a pastor and I have enjoyed serving at FBC Alachua since 1999. My desire has always been to preach the Word clearly and declare the inexhaustible grace of God. I am pleased to be serving with a staff that shares a common vision for the life of the church and a desire to serve God in this family of faith. Together as a body of believers we are seeking to do what God has called us to do – Honor God…Support One Another…Reach the World. I have always been very active in church music and, while serving a local church as interim worship leader, I felt called to lead and equip others to worship the Lord on a full time basis. I have served at FBC on two occasions, first from 2000-2006 and now from 2007 to present. I am proud to be part of this staff and church family. I am grateful for my family and their love and support. My wife Robin and I have two children, Morgan and Dawson. I love coaching my kids sports teams and enjoy fishing, scuba diving, and singing. I was called into ministry, and more specifically working with young adults, my senior year of high school and have worked heavily with youth since then.
