Membership is more than about having your name on the roll. It’s about becoming a part of a family of faith. To become a part of the family of faith at First Baptist Alachua there are three important steps. The first, and most important is to have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. To find out more about how you can have a personal relationship with God click here Then, having put your trust in Jesus as your Savior we ask that you be baptized as a public declaration of your faith. This identifies you with Christ and is a picture of how God has cleansed you of your sin. Finally, we ask that you take Membership 101. This is a class designed to let you know more about First Baptist Church, what we believe and what it means to be a member. It also helps us to get to know you better.
